as if asking if I was ready.
I had travelled roads crowded with rules and noise,
where each turn was mapped out long before I arrived.
The further I went, the further I drifted from my own vision.
So I started the engine.
Not toward the markets, the crowds, or the safe routes, 
but into the open
where the only direction comes from the horizon
and the wind decides the pace.
Here there is no copy of the mass,
no chase for the quick sale,
only design with character, meaning and a pulse that cannot be faked.
